1. Definitions

  • Company – E-L-M AS, providing passenger transfer services under the brand Transfers.no.
  • Customer – any person making a booking via Transfers.no website.
  • Passenger – person using the transport service (may or may not be the same as Customer).
  • Service – transport of passengers and luggage as booked via the website.
  • Booking – confirmed reservation after successful payment on the website.

2. Use of Service

  • Services may only be used for lawful purposes.
  • Customers must provide accurate and complete information (pickup time, location, passenger details, luggage, flight number if applicable).
  • Reservations may only be made by persons of at least 18 years of age.

3. Booking and Confirmation

  • A booking is confirmed only after full payment has been made through the website.
  • The Customer is responsible for ensuring all details entered are correct.
  • The Company is not liable for consequences of incorrect or incomplete data.

4. Payments

  • All bookings must be paid in full at the time of making a reservation.
  • Payments can be made in NOK or USD.
  • Any costs of currency conversion or card provider fees are borne by the Customer.
  • Refunds, if applicable, will be made using the same payment method used for the booking, unless otherwise agreed.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellation at least 24 hours before pickup → full refund.
  • Cancellation less than 24 hours before pickup or no-show → no refund (100% charge).
  • Refunds are always issued back to the original payment method.
  • If the Company cannot perform the trip (technical issues, driver unavailability), the Customer will receive a full refund.

6. Waiting Times

  • Airport pickups (with flight number): free waiting time 40 minutes from scheduled landing.
  • Other locations: 15 minutes free waiting time.
  • Additional waiting may be subject to extra charges.

7. Luggage and Child Seats

  • Each vehicle includes the number of seats and luggage capacity shown in booking details.
  • The Customer must select child seats when required. If not selected, the driver may refuse the trip without refund.
  • Excess luggage beyond what was booked may result in refusal or extra charges.

8. Customer Responsibilities

  • Passengers must comply with driver’s instructions, local laws, and safety rules (e.g. use of seat belts, no smoking).
  • Customers must ensure they are on time at the pickup location.
  • Any damage or extraordinary cleaning caused by passengers may be charged.

9. Liability & Insurance

  • The Company holds a valid transport licence.
  • Passengers are covered by the Company’s insurance as required by Norwegian law.
  • The Company is not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, or force majeure events.
  • The Company is not liable for indirect losses (missed flights, accommodation, etc.).

10. Force Majeure

The Company is not responsible for cancellations or delays caused by events outside its control, including but not limited to severe weather, road closures, strikes, accidents, natural disasters, or government restrictions.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Norwegian law.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Norwegian courts.

12. Changes to Terms

The Company reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. The version published on Transfers.no at the time of booking shall apply.
